Hair transplant or not ?

Im a male 39 years old and started going thin on front of my hairline,i been looking into hair transplants where they can implant hair strands,i tempted but I unsure.i know I would have my confidence back and feel younger.i currently shave my head I tried growing it longer but its the front that's noticeable.can people tell if people have had hair transplants? I just losing my confidence now.
