Well, I'll have to break down what hydrogen peroxide is. Hydrogen peroxide is made out of the same elements as water, except the number of each element put into hydrogen peroxide is different. When it comes in contact with skin, a certain enzyme in skin breaks down the hydrogen peroxide so it's no longer harmful. It can clear up bacteria. So, yes, it can work for your skin, but rubbing alcohol is a better alternative, because not only is it anti-bacterial, it also will dry up the acne.
