What do i do about my upper lip hair? :\?

Ok in like 6th grade, i thought that i was getting a mustache but i was just freaking out because thats what 6th graders do so i SHAVED my upper lip hair. i know thats really bad. and i would do it like a lot. ick. blah. but now it does look thick and like, gross, and i don't know what to do about it or how to get rid of it... should i get it waxed or pluck it.. or what? thankss
