What's better a brazilian wax or a bikini wax?

I want to be clean baithing suit wise for this summer, but I also want "down there" to be clean for when i get with people. Do guys prefer completely hairless? Or what? I just need to know if a brazilian wax or a bikini wax is better. Also i heard brazilian hurts more, so would it be smart to just get a bikini wax and shave off everything else i don't want?
