Why does my skin look nasty after washing it?

first of all , when you take off makeup, your skin is going to look different. you are going to see imperfections that your makeup hides if you use concealer or cover-up or anything along those lines. When you put hot water on your face, it opens up your pores. Pores are small openings or empty space in ( in this case, your skin ) where sometimes dirt and natural oils can get stuck and that is how you get pimples and other imperfections. This explains why you should wash your face using hot water. The hot water opens up the pores on your skin and allows whatever cream or wash you're using to clean out your pores and remove imperfections. This washing out of the pores makes your face appear different. (not too different, but a little). Your skin will get red because you are rubbing it, and cleaning it. and its getting hot form the hot water. You may be allergic to one of the ingredients in your wash, in that case you should consider switching.
