What is this strange rash?

I thought I had ringworm, however, its been several months and my son and my husband have not got it. Some patches are circular and some are just patchy. I used an antifungal ointment for a while. It didnt seem to help much, so know I just keep it moisturized with Aveeno. The hot shower only flares it up and makes it more red and helps it spread. The strangest thing about these rashes, is that once the dry patchy areas go away, (after about 2 weeks), that area of the skin appears to be white. As if my skin was bleached. Any ideas????
