How can I treat dryness and redness around my nose?

I have bumpy/dry/red skin patches on both sides on my nose by my nostrils. I used Aveeno face wash every night to remove make-up and then use Ponds moisturizer on my face and I use it in the morning before my foundation. But after I apply my concealer to that spot and then liquid foundation all over my face, the redness goes away but it's all bumpy and weird textured, and then throughout the day I'll look and it'll be all dry-looking in that area and weird. Anyone have good products or tricks?
